Beauty In the Moment

When I look up and see wide open skies. I think how magnificent how inspiring there never ending and I think of how my relationship with Jesus Christ is never ending and how God gave his only begotten son for not just me everyone. I take a deep breath in and sigh at the beauty that sky above presents. 

In evening at the dark of night the stars come out they shine across this world, and I think of the light that radiates in and through my God. The gift of the holy spirit that is alive and strong in me. Somewhat like a candle that burns within a window seal to remind me I am never alone. 

The sun brings down the warmth of golden rays comforting the pain that life can bring that even though we have loss and grief is felt we are not alone. I find trials come to strengthen with renewed hope a reminder how much we are in need; life was not meant to travel alone. 

Trees that stand tall and fierce outlast many storms that make many a home. Birds that nest within branches bring forth more life. Reminds me that life constantly seems to bring change. 

Streams of living water that flow constantly down mountainsides some valleys wide and narrow of never-ending flow. 

Highways and byways that seem to take us anywhere we want to journey, and I wonder do we ever give much thought to the road we are on and where it’s leading.

Wildlife that seems to come out of nowhere at times and witnessing firsthand the beauty of all creations fierce and mild. 

The smile of an infant or an elderly couple on a park bench. How can one not smile at new life coming forth or long lived. 

Gardens overgrown with foliage and fresh herbs bring forth food and beauty to nourish the existence of the human body. 

Such a wonder, such a beauty, such a gift granted the gift of life the beauty of hands that close together in prayer to lift another or oneself. Knowing an answer will surely arrive. 

Lips that bring forth words to encourage, lift and support. Durning another’s difficult times. Arms that reach out to embrace and comfort another. Legs that walk beside you willing to help carry whatever load. 

The beauty in knowing we are never alone. Smile, rejoice, be not afraid embark and embrace be inspired encouraged you are so loved. BluebirdSK©10/2023, Susan Knowlen
