The journey what can I say, for life will bring storms, some storms heavier than others, some storms last longer than others, the current varies depending on the storm.

The strong currents created a vast rolling of waves with fog hovering. Occasionally you can catch a glimpse of light, so you ride the current; at times the wrestling of waves crashes fiercely, and you barely can hang on.

Yet, you refuse to let go determined you persevere. Cause the glimpse of that light your eye catches tell your mind this too shall perish. But in a split second, you wonder how when the current has intensified.

You see, you know, out of nowhere that your inner light grabs hold, and your soul is awake. Your heart is like the pounding of a drum that beats like a mighty warrior, and you know all is not lost on the contrary. This battle you will come through, this battle has been fought.

In the hush, while the wrestling of current comes to a halt and the waves become calm upon the waters. You see the illumination, a beacon of light, beaming forth from the lighthouse that sits upon the cliff. At that instant, in a still small voice, you hear, you’re alright. This storm has blown over. Right then you breathe a sigh of relief.

The storm is just a memory now. You rode the current while the fog lingered; the ability to persevere has rewarded you and you celebrate. You see it is not the storms that life throws us all that creates lasting havoc. The decision we make with what we do when that storm appears, will determine the outcome.

A mighty warrior or a defeated one, which will you be?
