For Today Lord I Pray

May my eyes, see? 

The good in all humanity 

May my ears listen? 

To all with conversation 

May my lips pierce forth? 

Only good sentiment

May my mind be open? 

To all knowledge 

That I might understand 

May my heart only hold?

Love for another. 

That I may embrace another in arms wide open 

May my feet walk in the direction?

For the good of all mankind 

May you guide me and stay with me in all that I am challenged with today? 

That I am supplied to supplement whatever task

 Knowing it comes by your mercy, love, and grace.
