Thy Father Hears Our Every Word

Creator I am nothing without you. 

I walked in darkness in need of light. 

 I was in despair, and you gave me hope. 

I was in turmoil, and you delivered me.  

You are the light, you are the hope, the deliverer. 

As I continue the path before me now forgiven of my sins 

Let these feet move in the direction you planned for me. 

No man knows me as you the father. 

No man has given his son. 

You died for us and in three days arose. 

You left to prepare a place for me. 

Lord, I have repented and been baptized. 

I received your gift of the Holy Spirit that dwells within.  

Keep me oh Lord. 

Supply me with your knowledge, your wisdom.  

Supply me with patience as I endure and wait for thee. 

Write your truth within my mind, in my heart.  

Guide me and direct me in all my ways. 

Dress me daily with thy full armor to put on the armor of God. 

Protected to stand against the power of this dark world. 

Give me thy strength to do what must. 

To be able to continue in your direction with you Lord.

Our savior and our deliverer for your namesake 

For what is best, only you know?
